Princess Esra, the wife of the Nizam of Hyderabad, Bereket Shah, who was the granddaughter of the last Ottoman caliph, Abdülmecid Efendi, also lived in the mansion for a while; This situation adds a different value to the mansion in terms of history. Another event that adds to the fame of the mansion is that it hosted the international movie "Topkapı", which was made in 1964. In this theft-themed movie, in which famous actors of the period such as Melina Mercouri and Peter Ustinov starred, some parts of the mansion were used as scenes. Today, Mabeyci Faik Bey Mansion is a private property owned by the famous Sabancı family (Hacı Sabancı). For this reason, although the building can be seen from the outside, it is not open to visitors and its beauty can best be watched over the Bosphorus.
